I’m starting this blog as part of documenting 2026 for me. I’m going to be going on sabbatical for 6 weeks in Japan. I’ve always wanted to live in Japan, but I can understand that vacationing somewhere compared to living there can be two very different experiences. What will daily life be like, and will I find any sense of community being a foreigner?
